James W. Thorne, GRI, Designated Broker Jim has been a real estate Broker, Leasing Agent and Property Manager for over 28 years, and has lived in Sedona and the Verde Valley or over 35 years.  He has recruited and trained hundreds of top agents and brokers in sales and brokerage management for many different national firms, and is currently a Staff Instructor at a regional real estate institute. He has served as Designated Broker or Regional Manager for franchises such as Coldwell Banker, Prudential and ERA, along with successful non-franchise brokerage operations in Flagstaff and Prescott. He was selected by Coldwell Banker Residential Affiliates, Inc. in Newport Beach, California to become one of only thirty National Management Consultants for their franchise operation, traveling extensively with real estate business consulting to over 25 firms in four states. He was also a Western Regional Trainer for Coldwell Banker, conducting seminars for thousands of real estate agents and brokers from Washington to Texas. He received his B.S.B.A. degree in Business Management from Northern Arizona University in 1975. While there, he received such prestigious awards as 1975 Top Management Student from the College of Business, Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities, and SME Salesman of the Year (Phoenix Chapter). He is a lifetime member of Pi Sigma Epsilon, a national professional Sales and Marketing fraternity, and a graduate of Project CENTRL, University of Arizona's rural leadership program. Jim has leased and managed over 330,000 sq. ft. of commercial space from Tucson to Flagstaff, been an Escrow Office Regional Manager, studied Residential Appraisal, Sold large and small Land, Residences, Ranches and Commercial buildings, and he has manages large and small HOA & COA (Associations) and now is President and Designated Broker for....
